NEW HAVEN, Connecticut, January 22, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – Exactly forty-seven years after the passage of Roe v. Wade legalizing abortion in the U.S., a new Marist poll shows that a strong majority of Americans across the country want to elect candidates who support substantial abortion restrictions. The poll also found that most Americans still reject the Supreme Court’s reasoning in the 1973 case. “Most Americans want the court to reinterpret Roe either by stopping legalized abortion or by returning the issue to the states,” said Knights of Columbus CEO Carl Anderson.
