APPLE WON’T REVERSE PARLER PURGE
“Apple can claim that it removed Parler from its App Store for violating its terms of service, but everyone knows it did so as part of the left’s ongoing effort to cancel conservative voices. And by instantly preventing millions of conservative voices from communicating, Apple proved that it is one of the biggest bullies around,” says Free Enterprise Project Director Justin Danhof, who questioned Apple CEO Tim Cook at the company’s annual shareholder meeting.
VOTE THE CORPORATE BUMS OUT
“Conservatives are justifiably furious at Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter for banning all manner of conservative speech, including deleting former President Trump’s accounts,” writes FEP Director Justin Danhof at Breitbart News. “Some right-wing state leaders are threatening to divest state pension funds from these Orwellian businesses. That’s the last thing they should do…. Imagine what would happen if conservative shareholders and red state pension fund managers all started voting against board members of the far-left companies that are corrupting the culture.
CONSERVATIVES SHOULD PRESSURE BUSINESSES LIKE THE LEFT DOES
For decades the left has pushed companies hard, from Occupy Wall Street to protesting at board meetings and much more.  Now, these companies have surrendered to the left, descending to censorship, racism, sexism, and other horrors.  If we on the right hope to push American companies back to neutrality, we must adopt the left’s tactics.
THE MINIMUM WAGE IS AN IMPOSSIBLE CONUNDRUM FOR HONEST “STAKEHOLDER CAPITALISM”
Many of the country’s largest corporations have rhetorically adopted “stakeholder capitalism,” claiming to take all stakeholders’ interests into account in all of their decisions, including decisions only tangentially related to their businesses.  But as FEP’s Scott Shepard considers here, stakeholder capitalism cannot work coherently — even to provide a position on an issue as simple as wages.
FINK FAILS FELLOW CEOS, CUSTOMERS
Blackrock CEO Larry Fink uses assertions about “stakeholder capitalism” to push his personal policy preferences on corporate America.  But this is illegal and fraudulent.  In this Townhall Finance piece, Scott explains why and suggests ways to stop his charade.

AS BIG BUSINESSES GET WOKE, AMERICANS TRUST THEM LESS

Major corporations are wading into social and moral issues, including funding pro-abortion groups such as Planned Parenthood and opposing religious freedom laws.

Even so, FEP Director Justin Danhof warns those who have grown distrustful of corporate America to not simply respond with boycotts, as they don’t work. Instead, conservatives should ENGAGE with these corporations. Engaging has worked spectacularly for the left, and it can work for conservatives and people of faith. The Free Enterprise Project (FEP) has shown over and over again that this is true.

“When it comes to cultural conservatives, religious conservatives, corporations are on the opposite side of every issue that you hold dear,” Justin Danhof warned on “Washington Watch.” “Many of them fund Planned Parenthood. Many of them oppose your religious freedom, and not just vocally, but in the courts legally fighting against [it].”
