LTP News Sharing:
We at the National Center for Public Policy Research are all in shock and mourning over the senseless assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Charlie was a larger-than-life figure, a dad to two beautiful children, a faithful husband and a man of God who shared his Christian faith and principles with deep humility.
Charlie sought out opportunities for open and civil debate with young people to encourage them to open their minds, and in doing so he provided forums for even those who disagreed with him to also have their voices heard. Charlie exhibited the kind of love and tolerance we all strive to achieve. He knew what freedom was and he lived it courageously.
Charlie will be deeply missed, but he is with our Lord and his legacy will be felt for generations. We at the National Center offer the Kirk family our prayers and deepest condolences.

Other Responses From the National Center Team:
Free Enterprise Project Director Stefan Padfield:
Charlie Kirk was about engagement. He knew, particularly after the attempted assassination of Trump, the threats of leftist violence he faced. But he still literally put himself in the line of fire to engage those who disagree w/ him. To honor him is to continue this engagement. (X)
Project 21 Chairman Horace Cooper:
What this feels like is like September 11th. We changed after that horrific event. I regret that as a 30-something that I didn’t join the military to fight for my country and to seek the justice that was deserved.
But I tell you here and now: I will not back down! Free speech is worth it! Charlie Kirk’s life is worth it! We all must agree to join the effort to stand up! (Fox News’ “Hannity” – reel, entire segment)
