The battle to win hearts and soles are often lonely, unsupported and even criticized by friends and allies. But when you hear reports of the successes and victories, it makes up for all of it. The anger, hatred, lost families and old friends are all that we hear. But at our MLK dinner, family showed up and helped, old friends gave time and money and many gave their time. “We win when we show up” because we are right. Stop apologizing for being right.
